Antique & Classic Automobiles Offered for Sale

Due to health problems, the following antique and classic cars are being offered for sale.

1949 Mercury  - $45,000.00

The cream of the crop - Less than 1,000 miles have been put on this beauty since it was built, with much more was invested than the asking price.  This car is the meaning of the word "COOL!"

The interior is bathed in hidden soft purple lighting surrounding the interior. A Hurst shifter and 4-speed transmission make sure all thats out front, gets to the ground at the rear. Power brakes ensure you'll slow down in plenty of time for the nearest drive-in.

Power comes from a 455 Olds, punched out .060, creating 468 cubic inches of polished raw power!

1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 - $6500.00

exterior.jpg (19078 bytes)

This fine example of an original, unbutchered muscle car is being offered for sale. Although not     restored, it is in very nice, original condition, having been meticuously maintained. The Meadowlark Yellow exterior had some minor body repairs and complete refinishing which was performed about 7 years ago. At that time, the vinyl top and headliner were replaced as well as the front and rear window weatherstrips, door weatherstrips and quarter window seals. This Cougar has 160,000 miles on the odometer, with its only internal engine repairs being a timing chain and sprocket replacement a few years ago. Despite it's mileage, you'll find solid oil pressure, no smoke, and no strange noises from it's 351 Windsor powerplant. Oil and filter were changed religously every 2,000 miles, using Castrol GTX 10W40, and Motorcraft oil filters. All maintenance was performed in this manner, and all receipts are there from 1969, along with the multi-volume factory service manuals. The interior is the original color, Nugget Gold. The carpet color originally was a very dark green, the best description I can provide is it was an olive green. This color was no longer available, and brown carpet was installed as an alternative. Likewise, the original gold and orange plaid cloth seat insert material was no longer available. I've been told by an uphostery shop in New York the orange and gold plaid cloth was only installed on 11 Cougars, and is no longer available. Although I cannot prove that one way or the other, I could never locate the proper plaid material, and the seats were reupholstered in Nugget Gold vinyl, which was a standard upholstery for this car in that year. The original orange and gold plaid upholstery is still there, intact, under the vinyl. Complete instrumentation includes a factory tachometer and clock, FMX Automatic Transmission, 9" Differential, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, "Rim-Blow" Horn, Remote Control Mirror, Hideaway Headlamps, and Sequentional Turn Signals which work!
